That can wait until I'm a Grandad, but thanks.Someone give Grandad his cocoa and carpet slippers. Jeez!
Get a life FFS. Football isn’t just about numbers, polished social media profiles and 3G pitches. It’s exists for the fans, is an emotional game - and for those who aren’t completely miserable/sanctimonious/stamp collectors - a pitch invasion is a decent show of passion.Any EFL fine has to be paid. Money spent on a fine is money not available to spend elsewhere.
Yep, every club in my experience celebrates in this way when they’ve won a semi final playoff tie which doubles as the last home game of the season.Do we celebrate winning a semi-final now? As a one-off Oxford was a very special night but we went up the next season when at Torquay the players got off the pitch as quickly as they could, knowing that was only half a job done.
That’s your assessment, mine is different. You might want to paint me as an in intelligent or below your status but I love the club and City and see the pitch invasion as pretty much standard practice. You support a lower league club for god’s sake -these moments are what it’s all about. Just because it’s not what you’d do, doesn’t make in anarchic. I’m sorry you feel like your system is threatened.Aren't you the one.
Had a great first season back have the Imps, generally decent, friendly support and there's many parallels to our own community club/city. Final game of the season for them, it'd been nice for the team to have been allowed the opportunity to thank the faithful who'd made the 500 mile midweek round trip, but no, instead they were put firmly 'in their place' by those who felt the need to invade the pitch to celebrate another day trip to Wembley. We've yet to win feck all, not least any respect.
