Very sad news, The Goodies were brilliant but he did so many other things. RIP

I've got the dvd they released of their I'm Sorry...tour with Humphrey Lyttleton, Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden, Barry Cryer, Jeremy Hardy and Colin Sell, not forgetting the lovely Samantha. A good hour and a half or so of hilarity. Half of them gone now sadly and much missed.

Stirling Moss surely the greatest driver never to win the F1 title, only Gilles Villeneuve would be anywhere near to him. A true British great Sir Stirling.

A beautiful observation from the widow of Stirling Moss:

“It was one lap too many. He just closed his eyes.”

On a par with John Le Mesurier “conking out”

RIP
