Loving the boy Stanno
Living close to Burton means I’m very much hoping we win this one, don’t care how but another 4-0 like Port Vale would be good.

Three important points please. Who have we fit for the defence?

Unable to be there today but will be listening in.

At a wedding today so won’t be at the game. Good luck city. Even in our defeats we’ve looked the part in this league. Just hoping the good home form continues today.

We're going 1-5-4, Sweeney at the back on his own with Smith pairing up with Nombe and Brown and Stanno coming in from wider forward positions.😁

I forgot to add, Blackman playing rush goalie to give Sweenz some support.

Signs of impending autumn. Overnight it was down to 9c, currently 13, and unlikely to get much above 16, though mercifully its sunny. We've had no precipitation in the last 24 hours, but the wind is a chilly NNW, which reduces the temperature quite considerably. Probably it's going to feel like 11 or 12c The pitch looks in excellent condition, though as I noted yesetrday British Gas have made the area around the ground a bit on an obstacle course. It's also far less humid today than it has been in recent days. I'll update around 13:00. I think this is going to be one of those games where statistics count for nothing.
