Ossie would keep you on the edge of your seats - as a Baggies fan i remember you have to score 5 goals to win as we constantly let in 4
He ran the club beforeHe wouldn’t be running the club. He would be managing the Team. Unless someone with similar experience and above all else able to adapt to how we operate and the limitations that brings is available right now, what are our options?! Who do you think Julian Tagg is thinking about?! Everyone know he runs the football club. It could be a pivotal moment for the Trust to show who is in charge if the owners decide they don’t want the club boards option.
Wash your mouth out with soap! What was the score against Argyle last time we played them?Managers appointed since Trust ownership:
2018 King Matt Taylor - Reconnected the fanbase and team after Tisdale's slightly sorry end. Made SJP a proper fortress. A steady hand during the trials of Covid. 1 play-off final at Wembley. Beat the scum 4-1. Promotion to League One. Very decent start in League One.
Essentially, a bleddy good track record. I'm just going to trust the system on this one and will get behind whoever they see fit to appoint.
Posh area Borehamwood mate, you sure he would want to leave to come to us, which as everyone suggests as we know Exeter is in the middle of nowhere. As an exiled City fan living in Hertfordshire who regularly watches Boreham Wood FC I'd say we could do far worse than go for their manager Luke Garrard. He's 37 years old and has been the manager for 7 years or so. In that time they've reached the FA Cup 5th round, National League play off final, National League play off semi final and had several mid table finishes. Currently sitting 4th in the National League. All this on crowds that only started averaging 1000 last season and only because of the large away supports of the league's bigger clubs. They punch well above their weight.
This would also bring huge marketing to the club as well. We would be recognized throughout English football for being the first professional league team to be managed by a female,What about Abbie Britton from the women's team? Doing a great job on a very limited budget.
Clearly knows the club and environment, and unlikely to be a costly appointment.
