I find it slightly ironic that people are moaning about Plymouth's loanees when our best player (who set up both our goals) was Stansfield.

Last season we also managed to loan Dawson who undoubtably played a massive role in the promotion.
The Stansfield loan is a win win for us. If he does well (which he is) it increases the chances of premier league football next season and a large sell on at some point. Hopefully the loanees at plymouth all leave in the new year along with that scouser.

The Bridge Inn….on a good day.
Agree. Defensive errors cost us…..could easily have been 2-2 or even 3-3.
Stanno great effort all night.
Thought Dieng was poor….and Kite immense. Game changed when we made our subs….they weakened rather than strengthened us…which is a major area of concern. The opposite was true for the GAWS and that won the match for them.

Aside from Diabate, the subs weren't like-for-like enough for me, at a time when we were more than holding our own. Jev probably should have replaced Nombe and Chauke would have been a better midfield option to replace Dieng. Kegs has a bit of pace and power.

What a sickener! We played really well for the first hour or so and the game could have gone either way.

As a few have mentioned the subs made the difference, they improved when they made changes, we got weaker.

Some excellent performances, just a real shame to concede such avoidable goals.

Disappointed of course but the overall feeling is of pride.

Plymouth have 4 or 5 loanees we have 1. Plymouth have 1 academy player we have 5 or 6. Which is healthier?
They are. They’re top of the league playing in front of 16k each week - we can’t compete with that. Are we also healthier than Manchester City too, after all, they’ve only got Phil Foden from their academy playing regularly for them. And we don’t have one loanee, we have three. It would have been four (so the same as them) though if one didn’t go running home because he missed his mum.

If you're referring to Harry Smith leaving (who has been brave to speak publicly about some addiction and mental health issues he's experienced) I think your comment is offensive and probably says more about you than it does about him.
Perhaps best not to put yourself forward to represent Exeter City on any future mental health initiatives we're involved in if this is your view of it.
