Presumably the Club have known how he was going to plead for a long time. Totally the right decision to not play him IMO.

Well then. That’s that.

If he’s plead guilty to assaulting a woman it’s not really defensible is it - and proves the club were right to suspend playing him.

Hard to fault the club's response now IMO.

It might be that the assault which Jevani has admitted to is of a relatively minor nature. However, on the basis of what is in the public domain at this point in time, I don't think the club had any other option but to act as it did.

Well all the people slating the clubs decision not to play him should now understand why we should trust the clubs decisions in matters like this. They know things we don't.

He will be out of contract when the case is heard in July
Wonder what the club will do then
I presume they have known for sometime he was going to plead guilty
The big question is do we want him after this or not
Also why did he not plead guilty in the first place
Lots of questions to be answered here I am afraid

As a rule, someone might not plead immediately in the hope that a lesser charge can be negotiated with the prosecution.

It would, I think, be reasonable to assume that this might have happened here and be behind some, if not all, of the adjournments.

Obviously a lot more serious than we all first thought then

FFS gutted. So he has pleaded guilty. I was hopeful of it being some sort of misunderstanding and it not being true and him being cleared.
That’s that then, he’s finished with us. So City get to pay his wages til 30 Jun?
What a Feckin idiot.
