First half we had a good tempo, but as per recent games lacked a cutting edge up top, although you have to feel for the inexperienced Cox playing alongside Scott. We edged the first half.

Second half we started slowly and then lost our way. Just as the game drifed away from us we had an excellent last ten minutes and deserved and equaliser. Borges looks like he could well be the real deal, Coley certainly doesn't.

One of the best games Keys had in a while.

Love the bit when Sonny says he has to go to College tomorrow. A reminder of just how young he is.

Not liking the get on Cox’s back brigade, the boys a top finisher. Create him a chance, he will put it in the net.
True. The lad has a lot of potential . Exeweb in one of it's snippy, snidey, testy and bad tempered phases can be a very unfair place

It's football. Unless he scores a hatrick some won't be happy. He'll learn a lot playing against experienced defenders like those this evening.

Men against boys . I'm afraid Cox looks like another Ben Seymour, nowhere near good enough at this level
Utter codswallop (with knobs on)
*That post, not Cox

with service to Cox non existent and then marshalled by two quality centre backs thought he did ok and given chance with better players around him and not that awful, lazy useless Scott, Sonny will do ok.
Biggest issue for me tonight was selection and having players out of position AGAIN. Please Caldwell stop tinkering and complicating what is simple - Key is great wingback and Kite is hardworking solid midfielder. Caprice is not a left wing back - gets the crowd excited with wild runs but delivers diddley squat, Sparkes caused more problems so why not start him.

Give the boy a break. He was up against very good centre halves, better than he'll have ever played against before. He ran hard and had very little opportunity with the ball at his feet. I wouldn't be writing him off yet. I remember watching Watkins at a similar age in one of his first games and he reminded me of a giraffe. These days he's purring like a cheetah.
Quite. Seymour scored one goal in 50 appearances, the majority of which came in League Two.

More than a bit premature to compare Cox to him, after one start in which he came up against someone who Aston Villa paid £8M for back in 2008, played the majority of his 500 games at the top level, and was in the England squad under Fabio Capello.

Did Derby have a good shout for a penalty in the second half ?
