Plenty from Alli to be encouraged about. Took his goal well and has a bit of everything you’d want in a L1 striker. We just need to give him time and refine his game. Hopefully he may get another one or two before the season is done and he can really kick on in the summer.

A real bonus how he's good in the air too. Always thought his leap at Peterborough away for his chance was impressive for a smaller player. Would love to see him (be allowed) to express himself in these last couple games and take some opponents on and shoot, similar to his highlight reels.

In addition to this, we need to remember that in his time up to now he’s been predominantly used as a winger. GC obviously sees something in him that makes him believe he can become a centre forward. So not only does he have to get used to playing a couple of leagues higher, he’s also learning how to play a new role.

Given time and coaching I’m sure he’ll be a good signing.

It was a shame but the urgency was to get the ball back to the spot to go for an equaliser.

Caldwell mentioned in his post match interview that he was slightly frustrated that the second goal was celebrated a bit too much rather that doing the same and going for a third. It would be great for Milli if he can pop one in at the Big Bank end in the last game.
