A player that between the 20/21 & 21/22 seasons had 32 goals in 89 league two games from an Attacking Midfield/Second Striker role, great technicals. Had a couple of difficult seasons since but we've got history of turning fortunes around.
Exeweb: hell yeah! Worth a shot!
His name is Matt...
I think MJ would be a solid addition in the Aitchison/Harris area, behind the striker. I don't know what's gone on at Colchester but I know his technical ability is sound, I saw it in front of my eyes for a long time. Immediate starter? Probably not. But squad player willing to fight his way...
No. What I'm saying is that you dismissing his 50 international caps by saying 'Wales' is stupid. And the fact that you didn't understand what I was getting at means you're stupid
Players who played less than 50 games for Wales at the age of 23:
Ryan Giggs
Gareth Bale
Mark Hughes
Ian Rush
Aaron Ramsey
John Charles
Neville Southall
And the rest. What a tone deaf comment
Exactly. If Ethan doesn't have 100+ premier league appearances by the time he retires then I'll run down Sidwell street with a sign that says 'Free Crack' strapped to my chest.
We're getting off track here but the take home is that comparisons are useless. Vardy was in the Conference until his...
Not the same situation as Ethan, at all. He isn't a starter, he is just breaking out now. I get the facilities etc are better but he could go to a team like that at 19, still a prospect and with experience under his belt. Right now, he would be lost in the mire, in my opinion.
No disrespect to...
I really believe this is the best way for those in his position at his age. Right now, he has the chance to grow and be a first teamer in a competitive league and in an environment he is comfortable in and can flourish in.
If he goes to a Prem team then he will continue to be a 'talent'...
Would definitely have to consider it. But staying in and establishing ourselves in this league is worth a lot to us, long term. At this time, Reece is the only proven centre midfielder on the books for next year. Personally I'd be wanting closer to the £1m mark
Given his relationship with football and the fact that we gave him a chance and he has found a place where he flourishes, I'd like to think his choice would be to stay.
On the other hand, he may want to go for the money while he can.
Hope he stays, great bloke & great player
His physicality impressed me in yesterday's cameo, all about fine tuning now. The season break is a massive chance for him to work on it and hopefully hit the ground running at the start of 24/25
