Looks like a delay was that ECFC wanted the compensation not only agreed but also paid

Good news that it is only MT and WC going, but no mention of Scott Brown when it is said that KN and JH will be in charge in the interim..

Gutted but he’s earned his move. City legend for what he’s achieved and definitely not bad for a Southern League oil tanker…All the best Matt (and Wayne)

"Under-18s coach Kevin Nicholson and first team coach and lead professional development phase (PDP) coach Jon Hill will be taking over the first team in the interim period, while the club board begins the recruitment process for a new manager. The position will be advertised externally."

Right, so if we get compo for our now ex manager and assistant I guess that’s extra cash that would be available to the new manager in due course. If it is I wonder how much? Surely 150k + ?

Taking them in January is one thing, but I am more concerned about the number of players that may leave at the end of the season, if as suggested, very few will remain contracted.

Matt Taylor...key role in 3 ECFC promotions, two as player, one as manager. Don't think anyone else can match that.

(And no relegations either)
