Archive quiet but effective especially in first half. Randell was quality for the first 30 minutes but faded out the game and got replaced.

Don’t remember him saying that, thought he said “there were understandably boos at half time and the players had to deal with that, which they did” or similar, not that they used the boos to motivate them.

He actually said "Our fans are w@nkers and we used their ridiculous boos and stupid opinions to show them how wrong they are in the second half"

It's important to get it right Fred as a slight play on words can suit people's narrative.

Just seen the goals on SSN. The first was an own goal off of the keeper. Cole's free kick had hit the post and was coming back into play before hitting the keeper and going in.

Apologies if this has been discussed already, but Harris has to be better than we’ve seen so far, yes?!

Looks to me like he’s too concerned about getting on the scoresheet and, as a result, is messin‘ up the basics.

Proper game of two halves.. weather and soft red certainly had big bearing on the game but well done city showing quality and fight in 2nd half!

Difficult one to fathom.

First 45 minute we were our usual, dreadful, plodding selves. Causing our own problems in our own box by continually giving the ball to someone with either no time, no options or both until we gave it to Peterborough. With the added bonus that the usually reliable Sinisalo had also seemingly caught a dose of shit decision making. Oh and the rare decent chance we had was, as usual, wasted.

Only when Harper went forward did we look threatening.

Second half started much the same. Not sure how many chances Peterborough wasted to increase their lead but they could have been out of sight by the time of the sending off. Ferguson has got to be unhappy with that. Harper had been brought down god knows how many times beforehand - they just needed to stand off him and eventually we'd have found a way to pass it back to Sinisalo

Even after Peterborough were down to 10 men they still had enough chances to bury us.

Credit where it's due today though. Unlike Saturday, GC took off the totally ineffective Niskanen this time and Tom Plodder and replaced them with Rankine and Eisa and hey presto we had some pace and threat.

We really needed that three points. There's still a lot that concerns me about our general play and how easy it is just to stop us doing what we want (spoiler alert - put pressure on us when we have the ball in our own area).

But for tonight, never mind. UTC!

The players are not the problem, the tactics are. They clearly aren’t allowed to play the moment or conditions, or they’d have stopped the fannying about in our own box, even for a while.

Why are we so static in possession, and almost always, to a man, facing our own goal?

And yes, I’m happy with a win. Well played Vin, Reece, Zac and Dion.
