No the IDS remix - Universal (Dis)Credit. PS: I presume that you didn't actually read the article? Probably too busy fighting off the North London "Albanians" with your pitchfork.

But surely the biggest scandal are those increasing number of "precariat" that are IN work but still in need public support - almost totally to subsidise their avaricious employers. You know - the "working claimants" (1.7 Million at the last count) Surely even you have to agree that is a...

I do hope that it was a good old traditional UK style coffee (Wetherspoon's finest with a dash of Devon Red cow-juice and a couple spoons of good old British Sugar. Not that fancy "continental-style" rubbish!)

    Little things that amuse you

A notice in the Teighnmouth Spoonz today apologising that, due to the current UK "shortage" some of their eggs might be sourced from {shudder} EUROPE {quiver} Would imagine most of the regulars opted for pineapple on their gammon and chips!

Of course it is...assuming your prime objective is to disenfranchise that large (often left leaning) "underclass" who have neither had the chance, or money, to pass their driving test or ever had the need (or means) for a British passport.

And if you EVER ventured away from your own little goldfish bowl here and braved the exciting world of TWoWS you would at least know that Mr Moxey is a frequent (and sometimes intuitive) poster on City matters.

Now, now Art. Surely it was merely a public service by the CON party to "give us back control". The irony is that, right back at the start in the 70s it was Heath's Tories who were fawningly desperate for those perfidious continentals and to let us in. IIRC back then, it was Labour who were the...

    Energy Prices

We were offered a DD reduction, and also thought about reclaiming some of our hard-earned credit, but with that supine waste of space of a "regulator" still determined to help the companies in the energy sector to further boost their already obscene profits by sending the so-called "cap" ever...

That's a rather personal question. :p But, to answer it, almost touching the chillblains on my toes already.

    Energy Prices

Pah! Is that all? :p Thanks to frugality bordering on hypothermia we are currently £850 in credit and, with a 12 month price fixed until March 2023 we should be able to just about see winter out without absolute penury - assuming that Octopus don't go phut of course.

    WC 2022 Yay or "Meh"

To drag it back onto topic I suggest that the Celts were generally "meh"...with Bale and Ramsey especially so. And as for "Hennessy"...unlike their special festive Fine Cognac gift packs that particular one should have been firmly kept back in it's box.

Talking of which, whither your own old mukka, the "stentorian" Sir Geffers Cox? Still doing his " constituency duties" ( and topping up his own retirement funds) in the BVIs? Still, tax havens! Mustn't Mone, eh?

    Sheffield Wednesday (h) ticket availability

For a long time now the proprietor of County Tyres in Alphington Street has proudly flown an Owls flag from their flagpole. Suspect that particular EX2 property might be selling more tickets than tyres for the next few days!

    WC 2022 Yay or "Meh"

Aye. But on that again it was a game of no real consequence (football-wise) for either side - more like two bald men arguing over a comb. This time qualification through the group stages could be at stake.

    WC 2022 Yay or "Meh"

Should make the USA v Iran decider fairly spicy though. (Assuming we get at least a point of the U.S.of.A. this evening) I would imagine GI Jigsy is getting his combat gear and MAGA hat out already.

And restore the full "NHS bursary" to encourage new entrants. Disclosure: My youngest lass was in the final full intake before Camoron, Gideon and Matron Anne Milton got out the pruning shears during those "glorious years of austerity".
