Good luck and safe journeys to all those fans who will be suppporting City at the match. I admire the fortitude of people travellling that far in December for an evening kick off. We have some amazing supporters.
I agree with this summary. So many players out of sort at the same time.
In Josh’s case he seemed more out of place on the left rather than out of place by being upfront. Our set up with Jevani on the right and Josh on the left meant that we were less likely to get crosses in from the byeline.
On the whole I thought Ipswich were effective and fair but strong tacklers, but the three tackles you mentioned looked to be deliberate attempts to inflict injury. Not a coincidence that they all happened after the ball had been played and the ref was presumably focusing on where the ball was going.
The wider urban area is more relevant for Reading - there is a much larger population close to Reading than there is for Exeter.
No station near to the ground, although one is planned. A nightmare to get away from after a game.
Not much to separate the two teams in the league in recent years. Would be happy if there was nothing to separate the two teams today. Replays against a well-supported side helped the finances last year. Just hope we don’t rely on a last minute equaliser from our 6th substitute.
