Exactly-he hasn’t, Taylor even said the season before last it’s time for him to kick on, as the club needs to get more out of him, He had a good season last season in L2 but he’s been found out too much again this season. Hes not “still developing” so I can’t see him any better unfortunately...
Great player…he won’t be the same player you remember though if he comes back, we might get 10 games out of him. IMO we need to stop signing these sort of club stalwarts like we have done for donkeys years it’s not moving forward it it?
I wonder where Jack will end up if he gets released? My money is on Torquay if they stay up. I’m hoping he gets offered a contract as back up to Mitchell. He is looking like a casualty of how much the club is moving forward though.
How long is he under contract with the Toon? He might get released, we might end up signing him in the summer. It’s not as if Newcastle need to be relying on developing players anymore.
Why would you assume that? We don’t even know if he could cut it in L2, and that was before he had the unfortunate injury. He would now need to recover fully from injury and get up to speed in L1…with a year left on his contract. I can’t see that happening.
Make sense for who? Maybe a replacement for Grounds?…Gladly-I don’t think we are in a position to be needing to sign the old boys for nostalgic reasons anymore.
If Stanno can get some consistency and perform like that, he’s going to be some player. Everything he did today was levels above everyone on that pitch.
I don’t think anyone thinks GC’s face doesn’t fit….you’re always going to get criticism at any football club if you’re not winning games. Key was outstanding, that’s how he played throughout the covid season!
hope those people never get anywhere near a court jury.
Why? Better off you not being on a jury and condemning someone on hearsay before hearing the mitigating factors and the facts I would of thought. Don’t take the moral high ground no one was in the right or wrong here, complicated situation...
