Maybe. All part of the game I guess. But it won't change anything fundamentally.

I'd imagine it's because anyone basing their vote on MP integrity will still have many more blots in the Tory's copybook... I can't see it being a battleground the Tory's will win on this time around.

My point is, being wed to a strategy that isn't effective is not a good quality. Happily, GC's strategy is effective, just took a while to get there!

The detail of the strategy can never be secondary to its consistent application. If it was, it would be better to line up with no defenders and 7 right wingers each week than deploy useful tactics which change from time to time.

What would constitute a proportional response from Israel to these drone attacks? No response, as per the US request? The attack is over if there's no response, according the Iran.

Nice to see proportionality coming into play now.

Sure is. But the response has provided the outcome the attackers wanted, that's my only point. Grizzly situation.

And as they hoped, Israel's response has given them their justification to pile in.

I can't help but feel that, in bringing Iran into play, Israel have ended up giving the perpetrators of the October 7th attack exactly what they wanted.

Sweeney protecting people was a sign of that good team spirit, IMO, not a chink in its armour.

I'm not sure everyone failed to see him sticking to his principles. Rather we felt that those principles weren't worth sticking to. He was right, of course.

Agree with this but will we lose too many through the short term-ist transfer strategy and need to start again?

Great photo. And yes, good team spirit, but it's easy to have good team spirit when you're winning. What's really impressive about this lot is how they stuck together in those long, fruitless autumn and winter months when I was in total despair. No dissent, no silly comments, no blame game. Set...

I hate writing player off when they're leaving, because it often comes back to bite us. But he's not proved he's League 1 standard with us, for sure. It could be argued that that's been because he's mainly been played out of position under Caldwell.

No surprise he's off. Seems like a great guy. Might be controversial on here, but I've never rated him as highly as others - feel like he's flattered to deceive more often than not, but his effort (and the fact that he's one of our own) has papered over the cracks. Had a very useful purple...
