    Santino Ohanaka

Indeed. In addition to Norwich, I’m sure there would have been a few London clubs interested. Yet he chose to come to City, a club I’m sure he’d never really heard of. He’s surely been advised (very well) by an agent ,or similar, that the best thing for his development was to move to a part of...

IIRC it was Jordan Storey who was loaned to Dorchester. He couldn’t get a game there either…😗

    Josh Key...

I appreciate Bali Mumba plays on the other side of the pitch, but he’s a similar player to Josh, I would argue, although not as good. I think he was purchased for £1m by a side in the bottom quarter of the Championship. Swansea are a mid table outfit. So whilst unlikely, that’s the sort of ball...

Yes, hopefully the Johnly Yfeko signing might be announced later.

    2024 Summer Transfer Window

It does, but it’s a good listen. Gabe Sutton has a very good knowledge of the league and Sam Parkes adds something extra from a City perspective.

Will Aimson joins on a permanent contract - to Wigan

I think the answer to that is definitely yes. Once he got his fitness up to League One standard he scored about 4 in 5 at the end of the season and looked a real handful. Being pushed and learning from McGennis should only see him improve more.

Will Aimson joins on a permanent contract - to Wigan

No, you’re probably right on the mark. Having looked to having a good and settled defence and having made some really good signings, losing our two best defenders is a blow. However, our manager is pretty good at identifying and signing good defenders, so with plenty of time to go before the...

Will Aimson joins on a permanent contract - to Wigan

I tend to agree with this; he was seriously underrated by several on here and the booing of him in mid season was embarrassing. Whilst he took it quite stoically, you don’t forget stuff like that and I can understand him taking this opportunity. GC has a pretty good track record with signing...

Will Aimson joins on a permanent contract - to Wigan

Sounds like this has been on the cards since January, so GC has had plenty of time to plan for his departure If it is Michael Hector, that sounds like a decent replacement. We get a good fee too.

Will Aimson joins on a permanent contract - to Wigan

Always likely to happen, but a shame nonetheless. Will we be in the market for a replacement or can Ed James step up into the squad, if not the starting eleven?

Sam Parks suggesting that the tribunal decision for Josh Key is due this month. He obviously has knowledge that the rest of us don’t have.

    Ollie Watkins

In four years time will you be brave enough to start a Stanno chant when he scores for England in the 2028 Euros? 🙄

    Ollie Watkins

There were a few greenies celebrating Ollie’s goal in Bude Social Club tonight. I think I was on my knees screaming something about our Academy.

Who will be the breakout player this season and why ?

Randell Williams could do a mean back flip. Argyle fans should remember that too.

    Millenic Alli is a Grecian!

Sounds a strange one, in view of his very limited game time. However, if he suddenly banged in 4 or 5 goals before transfer deadline day at the end of August, we could all be watching Sky Sports & sweating a bit until midnight passes.

Starting eleven for the first game of the 24/25 season

Nothing really wrong with this, although I prefer a back three and think Aichison is well worth his place in the side. The biggest shame is that our long record of always fielding an academy graduate comes to an end.

    2024 Summer Transfer Window

I agree, but we’re hoping he’ll sign a professional contract when he turns 17, early next month, so I guess he won’t be classed as a scholar if he puts pen to paper. I don’t see him going out on loan personally, as I think he’s good enough to be in the match day squad on a fairly regular basis...
