Bolton should expect to win and should go away with the win based on league table, form & quality - that’s not disrespectful to Exeter its just the reality.
Its a free hit for us not them, It won’t be 7-0 like last time but given they have scored 36 more than us its hard to see them not...
They better way take it for Diabate and get him back in the team ASAP.
Regarding Sonny i think its a sensible decision for his career to sign a 2 year deal with City, I’m not convinced clubs would of been knocking his door down in league 1 or 2…..he’s very raw and has 3 goals in 20 odd games…
I’m glad we’ve offered him an extension as i think he’s shown enough to deserve one, he’s also young and has time to develop and improve.
Is he ready to be first choice? or our no1 striker next season? no to both IMO at the moment, i think he needs someone up alongside him with experience and...
We’re 16th currently we finished 14th from memory last season so right now we’ve gone backwards….
We may finish 14th in fairness.
In reality finishing 14th , 15th or 16th makes zero difference as long as your above the relegation zone but it would be nice to think we could at least match last...
Bolton will take confidence from a 98th minute equaliser….not ideal ahead of Saturday but hey ho.
10 games to go and we prob need 6 points to guarantee safety…
The unprecedented funds line was a recipe for disaster the minute it left his lips….
The signings have hardly set the world alight have they.
We need 3 attackers in the summer and 2 proper strikers.
Caldwell has a 31.2 win % as City manager since he arrived.
His career average is 32.9 %.
In comparison.
Matt Taylors is 38.9%
Paul Tisdale 37.9%
I suppose given the level we’re at someone with a win % of 40 % + is unlikely.
Said it before and will say it again - i think its ridiculous games at league 1 level are called off for “international call ups” also what is the point of having a squad? if when 2-3 players cant play you postpone.
Get on with it.
Unless its a whole team-squad pretty much out players out...
I think this is spot on.
The way we play means we’re always going to suit playing away from home more then in front of our home fans.
When we’re away teams open up and attack us so slowing the tempo of the game down works , keeping hold of the ball frustrates the home team and we can then nick...
We pass the ball to death, We try and play like Man City yet at a much slower lower level.
If you don’t move the ball quickly its the easiest type of football to defend against.
Get back into shape , get men tucked in and ask them to play through you…almost impossible unless you have KDB...
Its amazing how 14th last season and watching City was one of the most enjoyable seasons I’ve seen in my time following them, i really got the bug back and my lad loved going to the games at the back end of the season to see Stanno and the like….we moved it quicker, it was interesting it was...
