Thought we were OK tonight. Quality showed in the Derby squad, they never really got out of second gear but took their chances well. Not in all a bad result. Expected. Looked like no fresh injury worries. We move on.

3000 is a pish poor turn out for the first league game of the season....at home...to Portsmouth. Advance tickets, complex pricing, a magnitude of different offers and a 20 minute wait at the ticket booth pre-match WILL NOT get people through the gate.
With the new shirts released tomorrow I was expecting to be able to find on the club shop website details of where they will be available, pricing, size guides, sizes in stock, pre-order info, photos....

I'm not too sure. I know of several people who can't make either today or Saturday and they feel like they're getting a rather rubbish deal out of it. I still think the way forward is LESS deals, LESS promos and LESS price bands.
The Passage House Inn at Topsham this evening for a couple. What a location right on the River. Got a table right next to the water and was great watching the boats and swans go by. Well worth a visit.
The Anchor at Cockwood nr Starcross for a swift Otter this lunchtime. Sat outside watching the trains, boats in the harbour and Brent Geese flying in. Proper job.
