    Ed James

Haven't heard anything about him for most of the season.Very good news that Caldwell still rates him.James will get a few L1 games next year.

    Ollie Watkins

Problem with Southgate is that he was a centreback. Not all of them manage like a centre back, but he does.

    Ollie Watkins

Watkins is scoring for fun at the moment. Such a shame that Mr Cautious is going to drop him from his squad.

That's what I have until June. Its been good value with all T20 franchises that have coincided with my current deal.

George Ray doesn't get any quicker. He was so late ,I don't know how he made contact with the player.

    Harry Kite

With all the injuries he has had,it's been a stop/start career for him. Disappointing to see him go,but it's come to the point where he is wasting his career at City.Needs a fresh start to get it back on track again.Less depth in reliable strength for the City squad though.

That was a good win.Proves that there are never any meaningless matches at the end of the season. The players can take the memory of that one with them into the next campaign.

A fine second half from the team and a comeback well planned by Caldwell.

Only the third time we have scored 3 goals in a match and that could be Vale down.

I think Harper was playing with an injury.Might have to bring back Hartridge to fill the bench next Saturday. Is Taylor injured?

All these comebacks are good experience for the future.Too many times we have seen heads go down when let in an early goal, but stay patient ,work hard and there's always a chance to play ourselves back into a game.Good attitude from City.

City management were giving Watts some serious praise the other week, but I can't see too much justification for it.It would be safer to bring on Rankine at half-time.

Agreed. He has been a useful impact sub.I was thinking last week how many points we have secured when he has been brought on.Its not always about the first XI.We have found out to our cost this season that we need more capable squad fillers.

The team showed what they are capable of going forward and didn't give in. Best moment of the match tonight for me was Alli scoring. Hopefully that is the first of many.
