Always gonna be a risk, not the first knee injury Demi has suffered. But imagine a fully fit Mitchell terrorising that left wing, awesome prospect! Was a one man team for much of our early season last time, would love to see him working with the players that have developed in our team since...
I suppose it all depends on how you see next season panning out attendance wise. Will it be up there with this last season which, according to many would collapse as the football was so poor and boring but actually held up remarkably well. Usually second year promotion teams show a drop.
I think...
Love the way people get all prickly when price rises are mentioned! Council tax, fuel, transport just about everything goes up each year with little comment. Ask for a couple of quid a match to keep the club on line with inflation and people huff, puff and grumble like Parisian whores on a slow...
Of course the question remains as to whether season tickets of any variety are actually more profitable than pay on the day punters, especially for clubs with smaller grounds like us. Yes it's money coming in at a time when there is little coming in and it's guaranteed income no matter how well...
Should point out that I'm just talking about keeping up with inflation, not going all Cheifs! Seems a standard business requirement to me, why should City be any different?
Although looking into the costs of moving up to the Championships might be interesting, might have to give up your seat Ant!
Standard response, totally ignores the fact that £2 raise per entry could raise us an extra £12000 per home game, I'm sure we could have a whip round for you Ant. You'll always be popular if you advocate no price rise, it's when the product begins to suffer or fails to grow that people get angry...
Nobodies getting screwed! My matchday experience involves paying £20 ish for a train, more if I drive, several pints and food. All these prices have risen a lot over recent years but we pay them anyway. Why should our club be the business that takes the hit whilst everybody else raises their...
Got this down as a meaningless defeat but reminds me of the season we secured promotion with a slender hard fought victory over Barrow. Matt Taylor virtually insisted all the players went out and got ******! Had little hope for our long trip to Northampton but the boys somehow pulled it together...
It should be noted that when Ryan Trevitt got injured Brentford took him back and we didn't have to pay any more wage despite the fact he was on a season long loan. Very fair!
Got to wonder how the season would have panned out had he come to us from the start (as was promised by Fulham). Similar I imagine, he still would have taken time to get into the goalscoring groove. In the circumstances I felt Trevitt was a good substitute and a very good player until cruel...
