Sky Sports and BT remain the home of Premier league football.

Lets hope that the money is fairly distributed through the leagues. Maybe a stadium improvement fund ;)

Most are only bothered about Prem so probably won't. League 2 will be lucky to get £0.2m of the average £10.2m per match for the new deals.

According to the figures of Luton v Argyle earlier this season Sky Sports are paying £60k to a home League 2 team and £10k to the away League 2 team.

How are you pithed at 6:41pm (drunk)B-)
... fairly ? be nice wouldn't it. This is the reason why the gap between Prem (well only about 10 teams in the Prem) and the rest gets wider and wider. We have clubs going out of business because they can't raise £50K. Its a fecking disgrace that so little gets down to grass roots level. Would you keep throwing money at a business that had debts of millions - I wouldn't!! Yet the combined debt of the Prem is about £2 billion and still they get handouts and fecking parachute payments. If I failed in my job I might get the boot with one weeks wages per year so why oh why do clubs going down get millions for failing. If the player contracts were so high that gates and TV money in the Championship do not cover the wages then tough - get on with it. Furthermore, how much of my bt bill goes into the football pot?
I was chatting to Bruce Rioch the other day and he said he has minimal interest in the Prem due to money and is far happier coaching the kids. Good for him.

I read somewhere earlier that in the first year of the Premiership the TV rights were £110m (ish) and the FA received £12m for grass roots.

This year is £5.14bn and the FA receive £10m for grass roots. Something's not right is it?

(Not sure how correct my figures are.)

Neil Pym will be long shortly to describe this as "small change" whilst on a fictitious Caribbean holiday.

You know.......my heart bleeds for these Premier****e teams!! 550 mile round trip? That's nothing!!!

"QPR had a near 550-mile round trip to Sunderland and the club used money set aside for away fans to provide free travel. The Away Supporters Initiative was introduced after Premier League clubs agreed to budget £12m over three seasons to make the matchday experience better for travelling fans. This equates to £200,000 per club, per season.

Clubs across the Premier League have used this money in many different ways - such as discounting away ticket prices, entering reciprocal pricing deals or providing subsidised coach travel to games."
