I thought Ethan shone throughout in a side that went from awful to competitive.

I have to say, though, that the US national team is of a shocking standard given the improved visibility of the game there in the past thirty or so years. Pulisic is talented but, in genreal, they continue to perform like a side that's been brought together via an Excel spreadsheet: perhaps they truly are reflecting their national identity.

Wales v Iran will be an interesting one. Head says the latter will prevail; heart is hoping to see the former do well.

Ampadu against the England side will be interesting. If he is able to compete against a competent England midfield he'll do his future prospects no harm.

Interesting his squad number is 15 even though he's always a first choice. I'm going to assume it's because he was 15 when he made his debut for us 😁
