No because anyone who knows that the vaccines did not stop you getting Covid,
Sorry, but could you rephrase that into something lucid.

Are you saying that everyone knew that the vaccines don't stop you getting Covid? If so, how come Sleepy never got the memo? Or do you think he did, but just didn't comprehend it, being the doddery old fool that he is.

From the moment the vaccine was produced it was never seen as a cure but helped you stop getting the worst of it, Anyone who thought it was a cure is a "Biden" if he said what you quoted.

You say that, but even I, as sceptical as I am, did think about 18 months ago that the vaccines would greatly decrease my chance of a) catching it and b) spreading it.

That's all been proven to be bunkum. All that the past 18 months has shown is that if you are vulnerable, the vaccines reduce you chances of dying from it significantly.

Anyway, here's wishing Sleepy a Speedy recovery....so he can supply with his next gaffe.

A and B would have been nearly right if the different variants didn't come along but it was never a cure.

The main reason I got the jab was pressure from everyone because having the jab isn't for my benefit, it's to stop me spreading it.

Like you say, load of bunkum and I knew that but buckled under the pressure annoyingly.

I was motivated to accept the vaccinations for what you say above and might have labelled c) - if I contracted Covid it might not affect me as much compared with not having the vaccinations.

I’m having my fourth vaccination on Tuesday. I’ve been warned it doesn’t really deal with the latest variants, but it’s still considered to give a higher level of protection if I get a new Covid variant than without. I was also told the booster for the new variants are still being tested and will unlikely be available in Oz until Dec at the earliest

Well done. Hopefully I will get my booster this autumn.
