With Durham’s 2 points deduction for poor behaviour The Cidermen have avoided the wooden spoon but this was a truly dismal RL campaign in terms of results.

The win was based on the first RL century from Lewis Goldsworthy and a nearly century from James Rew. Warwicks lost their last 6 wickets for 53 with a big contribution from old grizzly Jack Brooks.

Some good youngsters have emerged though so I think the future looks a lot better.

Josh Davey came back in yesterday and bowled his 10 overs. Could be important as Somerset gear up for the fag end of the red ball season and very much mired in a relegation battle.

I have watched some very good RL cricket this month with the emphasis on young players. I did listen to 10 minutes of Hundred commentary last night on the wireless in the motor but soon switched to a Gresham College lecture.

Yes, both have work to do next month, as we have to bowl sides out. Not sure if Craig Overton will feature much, and I fear we've seen the last of Peter Siddle.

Congratulations to a young Devon side on their promotion to the Western Division 1.

England have nipped out three this morning and the South African tail is pretty long. A good position to finish the game today with plenty of runs still to play with.

Proteas 4th wicket proving stubborn.

Jack Leach has bowled 19 overs for only 19 runs. Quite remarkable.

Cidermen announce the signing of Pakistan spinner Sajid Khan for the last four Championship matches, as Jack Leach will miss at least two of them.
