Yes, but a class act when he is fit. Have seen him a couple of times for Hibs. The sort of player who would be too good/expensive for ECFC if it wasn’t for his injury record. Worth a punt imo

Maybe, but that’d mean he’d given up the 18 months left on his contract at Hibs where he’d be guaranteed to be paid, for one with us for the same time period where he’s not guaranteed to be paid.
If he’s done that he must be confident in his ability and fitness and good luck to him.
