The EFL met and discussed future financing and in particular funding by the Premier League. Not much being said in the statement but we'll need to keep an eye on this

Surely this has to be voted on by the EFL clubs.

Complete load of cack from the PL. Designed to aid the rich to get richer, and seeking to dictate the playing field before the appointment of the Independent Regulator. Still proposing a 75/15/5 split between C/L1/L2, yet they are seeking to increase their demands on L1 & 2 Clubs with more matches against their U21 teams, yet another step towards having B teams in the EFL of course.
But the Championship is where the carp really shows itself. Still trying to load the dice with not only parachute payments, but increased playing budgets for those teams as well. Then allocate the remaining money, not evenly but by league position enhancing their chances even more. The whole thing stinks to high heaven, and is geared to create a small elite group of clubs.

Changes to the LC not mentioned.
Clubs in euro comps playing more matches from next season.
LC options include them fielding U21 teams or entering even later than now. Or not playing in the LC at all I assume. Nothing decided yet.

Perhaps they will get the League Cup done by December, like they do North of the border.

They want the American system of secure franchise. Perhaps it's an influence of all the Americans that own the clubs.
