'We don't like them, they don't like us, that includes the players and management'
Yes, the first point is vaild but he's not wrong about the fact that if we hadn't lost to Tranmere we would almost certainly have gone on to finish as champions. And while I dislike him as much as every other sensible football fan I actually thought it was a very fair interview - he was realistic about who are favourites for the game and full of respect for the way our club is run and our recent achievements; in fact the only reason he doesn't seem to like is is because we keep beating them. What a ****. It was 1-1 at theirs and Port vale at the end of the season.
Thug and simpleton.
From reading his book he's actually a very bright guy but has a hair up his a**e, a short fuse, takes everything personally and holds grudges. You can take the boy out of Liverpool...Sounds like he’s trying to deflect some of the pressure from his own poor performances. There is obviously some beef between the two managers/staff but not sure that equates to the football players, don’t remember too much argy bargy last season? As @logman mentioned, he doesn’t seem to remember much and shows the difference between MT who knows every aspect of the opponent compared to JB who throws around random teams and scores, maybe it’s an act? but fans who know JB through his career know this is not the case.
