A feisty game with City taking advantage of their chances to race into an early three nil lead.
The Bees will be kicking themselves on the way home (which will make a change from them continually accusing the City players of kicking them).
Bees had some good ball players and when they pulled it back to 3-2 it looked like it would be a big task to hold on.
But City did hold on as the opposition got increasingly ragged with the City team standing up to the heated temperature (someone on the Bees bench was yellow carded).
City even had two good chances to make it 4-2 but, thankfully, didn't need a fourth.
No love lost between the two teams at the final whistle and there will be a few bruises carried tomorrow ...
