Zanzala occupies defenders, which is something we need when Nombe's not on the pitch.

And it should be remembered that neither of our goals would have happened but for him. For the first he did really well to keep the ball alive before the ball got to Dieng. And for the second, the weak keeper would have certainly have caught Dieng's hopeful header.

Ozzie for me above Keiron until we are 2 goals up and coasting. Ozzie has something to prove to MT - he wants a contract at end of the season whereas Keiron just goes back to Huddersfield.

But he's nowhere near Bowman's level which is what is needed if we play with that set up..... Back to wing backs, Collins and Dieng in the middle and three in front of them

Zanzala up top on his own should never be an option.
People seem to like him and fair enough, but I just don't see it. Each to their own.

Good result, and a good sign (hopefully) getting the result over the line in the second half.
Would like to see us try and improve on winning second balls.
Although I’m buzzing we won, gutted we couldn’t get 1 more goal, as I had 3-1 Dieng anytime down Willies.

Two results went our way Mansfield losing for the first time in a while means their game in hand on us can’t put them above us, FGR dropping points again is fast becoming relevant too

Quite true but a resurgent Port Vale is a worry, with us to play them twice yet. Keep grabbing those points City!

Table's looking pretty good tonight, I know the points are not ours until we earn them, but those games in hand are looking rosy
