Who is it who pings the inch-perfect 50 yard diagonal pass in the build-up to MJ's goal?

I think someone mentioned it was Ed James?

it's disappair'd
Two things really struck me about the game last night.

First, all the youngsters were impressive - James & King in particular, but also the subs that came on.
Second, it was really impressive to see the effort & workrate of most of the first team regulars (such as Stanno, & Jevani when he came on).

Harper showed some lovely touches at times, but he still spends too much of the game in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Yep looks like Ed James, 17 year old central defender.

(I reckon it was nearer 60 yards, but heh..)

Maybe when the social media team make the inevitable clip of the pass they can measure the exact distance for us. Anyway if he keeps passing the ball like that he could be another Alfie Pond and not be at City very long.

They've not measured it but here's a clip with his pass

my estimate (based on video) 58m = 63yards.

Fair enough, I stand corrected!
