Not 100% sure but I think we have drawn Liverpool five times three in the original league Cup and twice in the FA Cup…..Man Utd three times once in the league cup and twice in the FA Cup.
I was really talking recently, but your point stands.

I must admit I'd prefer Arsenal or Chelsea for novelty value than both, but who can resist the cash from The Theatre of Crass Commercialism.

From memory we also drew Liverpool in the 4th round in 1990 but lost the replay to Norwich.

You are correct - it was Norwich or Exeter v Liverpool or Swansea when the draw was made. We lost our replay 0-2 and Swansea lost 0-8!!

We were drawn away to Arsenal in 1978. Denied by a very late Wolves equaliser, and then losing the replay.

We still haven't played Arsenal. (But then a Fairy Godmother said "don't worry, one day you will play league fixtures at Highbury". Which is true but cruel).

Definitely could have been worse and if Woking do get through then I would think the tie will almost certainly be live on TV.
Unlikely. I think it is likely that they will choose the games for tv before the replays.

To the best of my knowledge City are still just lacking Arsenal and Middlesbrough for the complete set.

IF we get through R2 either would do - although, preferably, the former away and the latter at home.
Have we ever played Manchester City?

Not competitively. Nor Arsenal or Middlesbrough.

Not competively but in a Friendly to inaugurate the new floodlights in 1964.

Interesting to see how SJPand the surrounding area has changed over the last 58 years.
