If Stockley is not good enough for Charlton he is not good enough for us. We have moved on.
Did you run that notion when we sign Jevani Brown, Tim Dieng, etc,etc?

Heard at yesterdays game that Archie Collins is apparently on our radar as a potential signing this January.
Do they run a comedy club in Plymouth? You ought to have a go..........

We have no idea what is going on behind the scenes or how GC really sees the gaps in our current squad and / or transfer window.

But if it was me I'd be looking for a specialist defensive right and left back to allow us to play 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 when this works to our advantage. Woody and Tully 20 years younger would be ideal. With Stubbs potentially coming back and assuming Grounds doesn't move on, we are OK for numbers in central defence. But IMO at the moment we are slightly predictable in terms of line-up and all our three wing backs are prone to lapses of concentration. I also think Caprice is a very good L1 right midfield player, and would really come into his own if he had a FB behind him.

And if Key really is wanted by a Championship team who offer us and him decent money, and we can use this to strengthen elsewhere, it'd be foolish to say no IMO.
This may well come back to bite me but there is an argument to be made that if we feel we are now unlikely to get relegated, it's a good time to cash in on one or two of our star players.

I heard Mumba and Whittaker have been seen getting out of Taggy's car at the Cat and Fiddle.

As long as the newbies take;

Any keeper #13 (or 1!)
Any CB #24
Any left wingback #11
Any midfielder #21
Any forward #23

I’m fine with wingback and forward swapping numbers!

We need to strengthen at the back it’s as simple as that. We’ve not been good enough, it’s not just the injuries we’ve had. I’m not naming names whom needs replacing/upgrading…cause people will lose their sh*t on here 😂…No sentiment in football though, and I’m sure Caldwell has no favourites as yet.
