Is there anyone out there in Cityland who is/are able to cast an expert eye on the flat roof at the Cat & Fiddle Training Ground? When it rains the roof leaks like a sieve. Someone is needed who can inspect the roof, give professional estimates/idea as to the amount of work that needs doing and also an idea of cost.

If you have that skill and are prepared to help can you please contact Di Lee of the East Devon Grecians at [email protected] or Clive Pring at the Club.

We already have the offer of a donation towards the cost from an exiled City fan "up Lunnon" !!

Thanks in anticipation

Has someone thought of getting hold of one of our main sponsors RGB Building Supplies, again, they must know some people who might also be City fans.

If only there was like a large group of supporters, you could call them the Trust and they had like this thing...we'll call it a list of the occupations of these supporters. Then, and be patient with me for a minute you could use that list when problems like this cropped up.

If only.

Surely the best would be 5 Star roofing?

If there's more than 4 stars then surely there's a hole in the roof?

The Club haven't got a clue how to run a business. Check the sponsors first, they put more money in than most and would get ****ed off if not even asked to quote. Maybe even some of the players know appropriate people, companies particularly those from the area, some may even be related. Amazing

Why not put this on the club website and when a fan replies saying they can do it, offer to pay them with a set of tickets. We cant shift tickets as it is and they cost us nothing to dish out. Im sure someone would be willing to give up some time in exchange for a small thank you.
But maybe thats just me...

All these little jobs that cost us small amounts of money here and there could be solved in a similar way, we need to start thinking outside of the box again with these things.

Giler's in the building industry, he used to employee Steve Flack, who is prodominently a brickie. Surely he would know somebody who'd charge a reasonable rate for good work?
