Oh gawd is this award still cursed ?
Nope, never has been, you only hear about the times when the recipients lose their next game. I hope he gets it, he deserves accolades. I hope they get a Chesterfield fan to present it to him.

Top of the table and 2 cup games won. It's a nailed on certainty. Isn't it?
They usually give it to the team with the best league record in that month. Which would be Oxford.

Because the list of contenders has only just been published I failed to take into account City went top with the first game in September, so you’re probably right. But in a sensible world Oxford’s 1-5 defeat in the League Cup would have a negative effect.

It'll be Oxford or Wigan.

Success from an 'unfashionable' club always takes time to be recognised. If we continue to do well, suddenly it'll become a 'fan's owned', 'rags-to-riches', David & Goliath story - and then we'll be 'fashionable'!

I don’t understand how Aimson hasn’t been nominated 2 goals and 3 clean sheets from 5 games

The problem is we have so many candidates, Trevitt, Hartridge, Sinisalo...

Apparently Lee Johnson is about to be appointed as Fleetwood manager. The merry go round of managerial failure continues.

Why are Americans suddenly so interested in L1 &L2 clubs? It can only be money, right?

Wrexham has catapulted the attraction of British association football. If I looked at the lower two leagues and potential to grow and develop a club I would probably look at Carlisle tbf. Big ground 17,000, massive catchment area with no competition from other sports. Wouldn't describe them as a sleeping giant more like a snoozing dwarf but with the potential for sure. Bradford of course goes without saying but they are a permanant shambles :)
