Did Sunderland play a weaken team today? Only asking because they got hammered 6-0 by Bolton, No disrespect to Bolton but going by the league table, You wouldn't have seen that coming.

Jermain Defoe effect ain't it. Losing at home to Doncaster won't help keep them coming though.

Morecambe Vs Bolton game was halted for around 10 minutes because of racists comments aimed at the Bolton bench from the home fans.

The irony being that 10 man Bolton grabbed a point in the 14 added mins because of the break in play!

Not the result they were hoping for that’s for sure.

Having chatted to a Sunderland supporting friend it seems a large section of the fanbase are clamouring for Roy Keane to return - to the extent that if someone else takes the reins it could get ugly rather quickly.

If I'm honest I think it's a massive shame that such a well supported club finds itself where they are now - and have had to endure the likes of the idiot Stewart Donald and co. (the second series of the Netflix doc is illuminating if you don't know the background); but Keane would seem like a massive roll of the dice.
