Moving back to the West Country after half a lifetime away.

I'm a home fan again now.
I did the same thing years ago, after working for a lengthy spell in such places as Taunton, Edinburgh. Milton Keynes and Surrey.

It was good to come back. Why would you want to live anywhere else?

Welcome back, mate. (y)

Being at a ground and actually watching a game of football, one where the result didn't mater so the whole experience was quite chilled (Tivvy vs City).

Staying in a hotel that was idyllic. Next to the River Exe, so that the garden was situated by the river and you could enjoy watching the river meander by while enjoying a post match pint. So quiet as well. It's not the side of Tiverton that I'm familiar but the Exe valley looked glorious. Will have to go back soon and enjoy the place for a longer period of time.

Hypocritical of me I know, but the simple pleasure of ordering a pint at the bar again rather than wrestle with one of those infernal 'apps' (or trying in vain to catch a wandering waiting-persons eye).
