Another mainly solid performance by Ed James tonight although he did switch off at one point and found himself dawdling five yards deeper than his other two centre back partners playing the opposite winger onside and clean through. Ed did get back to clear though after the very left footed winger didn't get a clean shot. Otherwise decent in a tetchy game that the ref was never in control of.

The highlight being after 20 mins when H&Y players surrounded the ref after a heavy Louis Morison tackle (free kick and talking to offence imo), particularly their big CB captain Charlie Wassmer. The Tivvy midfielder, Martin Brittain, decided to calm things down by walking up behind Wassmer and yanking on both of his ears. Wassmer pushed his elbow into Brittain's face and then had a little jab with his elbow into his face. Cue Brittain going down and Tivvy players surrounding the ref. Outcome was a separate talking to for both players and any control or respect for the ref out of the window. You had to laugh in the end.

George Spencer was in Saltash's starting line-up yesterday. The FA website credits him with 1 goal but the match report on cornish-times.co.uk credits the goals to other players.
