Not bothered to look through the entire thread but has anyone mentioned Sealand Road, Chesters old ground. Went there 3 times I think, the last time we had to walk across the overgrown terrace behind one goal to get to where the away fans were housed.

The last time I went there we lost 1-0 to the most blatant offside goal you will ever see.

I went there once with a Bristol City supporting friend.
I had a crew cut then (back when they weren’t common or fashionable) and no I definitely wasn’t a skinhead.
When we approached the turnstiles security weren’t going to let me in until my mate vouched for my good behaviour!

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
Firs Park, Falkirk. Former home of East Stirlingshire.
Vacated in 2009 when The Shire ground shared with Stenhousemuir. It still had a shale terrace behind the goal on my visit in 2005/06, something I had not seen at a senior football ground in 20 years.

😁
They must have thought you were going to behave in stereotypical. ‘mad skinhead fashion’ the sort of fantasy nonsense that was in some tabloids were fond of reporting around the early to mid 80s.

Very tall floodlights iirc at Sealand Rd. The Grecians had a excellent record there, except for my one visit of course !
