Lost football grounds

Together We Are Stronger.
Was in Liverpool last week and decided to have a wander around in Toxteth. I came across a derelict football ground called Tiber Park, which was apparently once the home of Kingsley United, who I have never heard of. Anyone know what became of them?

What a godforsaken place. Whole streets of boarded up houses and loads of patches of wasteland with piles of rubbish on them. It made Burnthouse Lane look positively cosmopolitan by comparison!

Bradford Park Avenue

For those of 'a certain age' this should bring back some memories.

In RaWZ we trust....Amen.
Park Avenue was a better ground than Valley Parade.

Incredible to think that Bradford had two FL teams until 1970.

Not really when you consider Bradford City average crowds of 18000 in League 1

The boundary walls are still around the perimeter of the old ground. Its now used for cricket . If you use the Google street view thingy you can see the old turnstile doors still in place.
