I know that businesses/companies evolve over time, and that the game has changed completely over that period, but can't help seeing an irony in the Watford that made it up from the old Fourth Division under Graham Taylor's management being run like this; particularly when you consider that the ownership seemed that much more stable under Elton John, who took over in the mid 70s and was, presumably, sticking quite a bit of Colombian marching powder up his nose at the time.
