Wow, a lot of Premiersh*te club's going to be fighting over new managers. Spurs, Chelsea, Leicester, Palace come the summer plus a few more to come no doubt ! Stakes are certainly high, demands instant, but rich pickings to be had if you can withstand the pressures !

On the surface it does seem a little strange, but nothing really surprises me nowadays.
I presume from Chelsea’s point of view it wasn’t the current regime who sacked him and they want to buy some time to enable them to make a permanent appointment in the summer, when the new incumbent will have a transfer window and a full pre-season.
From Lampard’s point of view where else would he get the chance to led a team in the Champions League Quarter Finals next week?

Blackpool and Wigan must be favourites, plus one from Rovrum, Cardiff, Huddersfield, QPR or Reading. Some "long old pokes" in that list !
