I ended up with a gift voucher as my boys were unable to buy anything! Seriously shocking and if this is indicative of the move to a sustainable league one club then we have next to no chance

The Terrace lads do pretty good licenced City stuff including hoodies. Probably needs to be highlighted more although I think there is a link from the club shop website.

Yes very disappointing just out of interest I looked at a few other Club’s websites and the links to their Club shops and without exception the range and quality of merchandise was way beyond that of ourselves.

Yes but instead of links all the time why not have the products on the club website? It’s great if you’re a fan and are prepared to hunt around and take the time to look, but how many Christmas and birthday presents are not being bought because relatives look for the City webpage, hit the ‘shop’ button then go to John Lewis instead because all they can see is replica shirts, some polo shirts and a bloody TAJ Hibberd mug?

It really is **** poor and quite frankly embarrassing. It can’t be that difficult to get a few hoodies, t-shirts and baseball caps up there, can it?

I'm not arguing, I'm just pointing out where the licenced merch, some of which you were asking for, was. The link could be better labelled on the website, it is on the menu under "Special+ - licenced" where it could be better also having it on the home page.

It would be great to have a wider choice, I agree, in the actual shop and online. There is just the one baseball cap I can see on the actual club shop website. The only answer though can come from the club.

We do seem to have a reasonably large turnover in commercial staff over that last couple of years - perhaps the new incumbents are too keen to please and concentrating on the big money spinners rather than the nitty gritty. We seem to have the same tired old jumble sale rejects on sale for years now.

Where are the new lines and fresh items? Not everyone wants replica shirts and training kit. You can’t even get a decent mug and a car sticker these days.
I did get a city mug,a hoodie and a nice selection box with a city photo on it,but I think my good lady got it from the terrace, and elsewhere,I think the hoodie came from the club shop, but that was it,I think you make some valid points about the range on offer, and how much revenue the club has missed out on

Totally agree. I want to spend money with the club and would happily purchase some subtlety branded, quality gear. The “subtle” part is equally as important as the quality for me. I’m not interested in massive logos plastered over stuff.

I feel the same. As a for instance, take something like a Fred Perry logo: I would like to see stuff with the City badge in that sort of size and location on a t-shirt or hoody, but also giant logos too. There could also be stuff with just Exeter City on and no logos, and in different colours - a grey t-shirt f’rinstance goes well under a jacket or jumper, whereas not everything in club colours works as casual dress. To my mind these aren’t difficult things to do.

Anyone else really disappointed at the merchandise currently on offer at the club? When asked by the family what I’d like for Christmas I said I’d quite like some City stuff and (yes, sorry) some Miami Dolphins stuff. All I got was Dolphins stuff and when I asked why no City stuff was told that either there wasn’t any, it looked rubbish or there just wasn’t much of a choice.

Now, I realise that Exeter City won’t be in the same league as the Miami Dolphins for anything commercial, not by a long shot, but having a look on the web site they are absolutely right - what’s on offer is absolutely *****. No t-shirts (except one rainbow one) but half a dozen polos, no jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts, baseball caps or mugs, just replica kits and kids’ stationery.

Surely it can’t be that difficult to knock up a few T-shirts, sweatshirts or hoodies? I don’t think the shop fares much better either, and if it does, why isn’t it up on the web page (and why do we still have Lee Holmes modeling stuff?). So all in all, sat here in my Dolphins T shirt and hoody, I have to say I think we’re doing a pretty poor effort at giving supporters stuff to spend their money on and should - and could - be doing an awful lot more.
I went into the club shop at the start of December, very disappointed with the lack of merchandise especially in the build up to Christmas.
So much empty space as well, and as has been alluded to, not much in large or extra large in what they did have.

Loving the boy Stanno
not much in large or extra large in what they did have.
Which is particularly annoying when it says the replica kit is very tight fitting so you should order a size up. The shirt I’m after is for my son, who would normally be a medium but in the City shirts is a large. Given the shop only has size Small in stock, they are clearly aiming at the Extra Small market.
