Beat me to it...Also large sections of the M6 are usually shut after 10pm from experience for maintenance
A overnighter for me I expect, or better still a trip to Fort William after for a few days as I’m just over half way there

I remember Accrington on a Friday night. We got there half an hour before kick off. We left at 11:30.

To some extent a Friday night is easier for train travel, but does entail an overnight stay.

Just hope there isn't a train strike that weekend.

Booked into the Prem Inn at Lancaster for Friday night...Then off to Fort William for 4 days staying at the Alexandria. 4 nights BB plus 3 Course Evening Meal on their Winter Special for what works out as £37.25 a night each for me & my good lady.

The Prem Inn was £75(flex) Room only.

Strangely tempted by a Friday night away Morecambe, been to Christie Park on 2/3 occasions but still yet to visit the Globe Arena, attendance tbc nearer the time once I’ve eyed up travel plans.
