After the first week in a long time without a game in midweek we find ourselves heading to the smoke and one of KMT's old clubs, and one we feared may have been in for him this summer before heading to Vegan Way, Charlton Athletic. Old boy Jayden Stockley is currently captain there but currently not setting the world alight with only one goal to date despite the addicks scoring 5 against our county rivals when they visited the Valley in August.
Charlton currently lie 12th after 7 games with 9 points and +2 goal difference despite that huge victory against Argiglle (got to keep pushing that point, 5-1), their only other victory in the league was at home to Derby, so at the moment Ben Garner, like Jayden isn't setting London alight as the new man in charge. They have however only lost two away to promotion contenders Bolton and Sheff Wednesday, their other matches have been drawn against Accrington Cambridge and Wycombe.
Will this be the match where we see Jay Stansfield start in front of currently over 1400 travelling Grecians, or will we see Super Sam retain his place, selection choices are now starting to become challenging not only for us armchair managers but surely for KMT, I would imagine the same starting line up apart from Harper replacing an injured Dieng, and perhaps Hartridge back from injury despite Grounds solid job last week so
Blackman
Key Sweeney Diabete Hartridge Sparkes
Collins Harper Kite
Nombe Brown (J)
Subs
Brown(S) Grounds Caprice Jay Stansfield Smith Chauke
Attendance of twice our current home attendance 11785, including 1547 Grecians who see Jay Stansfield open his account after Super Sam sets us on our way, and Jev caps off a 3-1 victory
