Met Office states Exeter not dropping below zero all day so can't see any problem this fixture going ahead
The forecast I’ve seen suggests it will be -1 during the game which must make it very touch and go whether or not the pitch re-freezes. I know it’s never taken into account but it’s also not going to be much fun for fans returning home after the game.

Typical, I am over for my first game in 3 years and we have a frost warning. Going to be a stressful day, never mind the stress of the game.
I feel your pain - I travelled some distance (not NYC tho) for a game against Port Vale a few years back and I think that was off because of supporter safety not even the pitch - fuming!!!

Always difficult to do forecasts on days like this. It's currently 3c where I am (about 400m as Dido flies/flew) from the ground. The wind is a chilly NE, with movement towards going to ENE, which makes it feel colder. There's bright sunshine, but with it being so low on the horizon there are bits of the garden that'll have no direct sunshine at all today - which is not a problem for the pitch, as bits of it never do. For what it's worth overnight low was -2c, but colder the night before at -3c. Sunset is just after 10 to 5 this evening which leaves at least a couple of hours before kick-off for the ground to freeze again. I'll post again about 18:00 by which time, someone, somewhere will have made a decision about whether it goes ahaed or not. If it does, it's going to be a cold 'un.
