Yes he did.

Carr scored the opener with a free kick at SJP in the FAC 3rd round game for Wolves in 1978.It was a clever chipped shot, that was subsequently forgotten about with all of the drama that surrounded the game on & off the pitch.
On my computer now so here it is

Coventry City Donkey Kick - Bing video

I believe rules were changed so this could no longer happen.

When people say the pitch is "a great leveller" for lesser teams like Hereford, remember the Champions played on this!

Derby v Stoke 1975, and the famous Baseball Ground bog ... seems unbelievable today. Some real skill on show despite the surface.

The last time that a couple of the managerial greats went head to head. Clough & Revie. Forget Ferguson v Wenger that rivalry was nothing compared to the Derby & Leeds managers at the time. Always a bit of needle no doubt stoked up both managers in their meetings. I recall this one was eagerly awaited being a FAC game between the reigning League Champions & Cup holders.

Unusually Leeds in red & Derby in blue.
