One thing that was clear from today's game is that Ollie is still trying to close down and press the centre backs but getting played around and looking behind him at a team just sitting in their shape. This suggests a breakdown in team set up as Ollie should just sit and conserve energy. Either he is not following instructions or the rest of the team aren't. Either way a problem Gerrard needs to fix.

When I was on holiday there was a chap from Liverpool in our hotel. He said he had come across Gerrard a couple of times and that Gerrard comes across very big time and not likeable at all.

I think Gerrard comes across very well as a manager, I enjoy listening to his interviews. Which is funny because I had no time for him as a player. It’s also funny that as a player I thoroughly enjoyed watching Frank Lampard as a player yet now he’s a manager it’s hard to find a bigger bell in football.

I disagree Gerrard goes on about what he’s going to do..be more positive etc etc….he’s been saying this for ages.
