I wonder if it one of our former players who has put it up for auction ? Any guesses ?

If i had to agree with you we would both be wrong
How many was he issued for the game ? Normally big teams have at least 3 shirts for every game.

The lot description suggests that it originally belonged to Marcus Martin.

"Scholes swapped the jersey at the end with Exeter player Marcus Martin during his spell on loan with the Grecians from parent Club Plymouth Argyle. it is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the player stating that the item remained unwashed whilst in his possession until April 2nd 2010 when the item was sold".

It sold for £1,100 in the end. The buyer would also have to pay around £220 in commission to the auctioneer.
