The gentleman in question might be a liberal.

Just a thought like.
Well, being liberal didn't find public disapproval recently in Amersham, North Shropshire and Honiton & Tiverton, did it? lolz
Certainly proved more attractive than being a Tory.

Let us see if those seats stay Lib Dem when there is a general election.

Well the last one certainly won't as it's disappearing under boundary changes. :p (And the other two being significantly "gerrymandered" too)

No problem with liberals of the elected variety G2K, it’s their over representation as a part of a self selecting ‘elite’ that bothers and worries me.

You could always ask your old mate Jacob.
Just even buy a dictionary for yourself (unlike Public Schools we impecunious self-loathing liberal lefties are not registered charities you know. We have to pay ALL of our due taxes)

Voter ID is not gerrymandering.

The only party guilty of gerrymandering in my memory was perpetrated by a LABOUR government in 1969.

Not a case of national gerrymandering of Parliamentary boundaries. :p

Interesting shenanigans around the Covid enquiry. It seems the Cabinet Office risks being sent to prison if it does not give Lady Hallet the information she's asked for. What larks...
