Disappointed not to have got something from the game, although Pompey missed a sitter in the first half, and threatened more late on. Mistakes at this level are definitely costly. Jamal made a class goal-denying save before the mistake.

We should have had a penalty - White was clearly fouled. Overall we more than competed against a team with vastly superior resources. Geddon.

Was he f%%k. He wasn't strong enough. However, Jevani got cleaned out right at the death and should have had a penalty.

Loving the free flowing entertaining football at S
Losing to Pompey away won’t define our season let’s be honest , nobody wants to lose but we’re 12th and still sitting comfortably in the middle of the league if the season finished tomorrow it would be a satisfying finish after promotion.

Long way to go and City will be more than ok come May

Although Jamal has in a sense owned up to the mistake for the 2nd. I thought Jake should have closed the bloke down a lot quicker. He simply wasn't tight enough on the man.
Just an opinion.
And for the first, Key wasn't quick enough to close down the cross.......these are shortcomings that have been going on for many seasons and various players simply seem to averse to getting in a challenge to stop the ball getting in to our penalty area.

Key at left wing back doesn’t work. I will say this until cows come home. Not his position and has and will cost us. Blackman got injured with there first goal don’t be surprised to Lee in goal Tuesday . Browns miss cost us. So as a team game a lot wrong. But also a lot good

Most of us Pompey thought he was your best player. Higher up the pitch, he could be great.

On the right in his proper position he carries a threat. On the left he's wasted. Her has no left foot to talk of and is therefore easily shut down. He has gone backwards since he had his head turned by Sunderland at the start of the previous season and is still trying to return that kind of form.

I don’t know how, but I ended up listening to the Pompey commentary. Guy Whittingham was one of their commentators, not sure who the other was, but they were both amazed that no pen was given for the challenge on Jevani.
